David is the founder and CEO of Rent IQ, a leasing platform for rental apartments that enables property owners to capture more leads by allowing prospects to book tours directly from their websites. He founded Rent IQ to deliver operational efficiency improvements in the Canadian rental market.
Prior to Rent IQ, David developed deep rental market expertise at Urbanation, Toronto's leading real estate research firm, where he conducted market feasibility studies for new apartment developments across Canada. Through extensive research of the Canadian rental market, David saw the same problems consistently: outdated availability, unanswered calls and emails from prospects, and leasing staff stuck playing phone tag to book tours.
